Join us for a warm and welcoming culinary journey through Germany's most beloved comfort dishes. In this hands-on cooking class, you'll explore the balance of savory, tangy, and rich flavors that define German cuisine—from iconic street food to traditional home-cooked favorites.
Working alongside your chef instructor, you'll prepare Currywurst with its signature spiced sauce, master tender Königsberger Klopse simmered in a delicate caper wine sauce, and create classic Käsespätzle—the ultimate German comfort dish. Sweet-and-sour green beans round out the savory courses before finishing with a decadent chocolate torte.
Along the way, you'll learn essential techniques for sauce-building, seasoning balance, and selecting quality meats, dairy, and pantry staples. We'll also discuss ingredient substitutions and ways to adapt these traditional recipes for modern home kitchens.
