Step into the warmth of a traditional German kitchen in this hands-on cooking class centered around classic comfort foods and time-honored techniques. Guided by our chef instructor, you’ll prepare a menu that reflects the heart of German cuisine—rustic, rich, and meant to be shared.
You’ll begin with Flammkuchen, the crisp, thin-crust flatbread often called the “German pizza,” learning how to build layers of flavor with simple ingredients. From there, you’ll master Jägerschnitzel, focusing on breading, pan-frying, and creating a savory mushroom sauce. The comfort continues with Käsespätzle, Germany’s beloved cheesy noodle dish, and Loaded Sauerkraut, where balancing acidity and richness is key.
The class concludes with a comforting dessert: Hot Apple Strudel with Whipped Cream, highlighting classic pastry technique and warm spice flavors.
